Tasting Note: A soft wine with attractive berry fruit, smoky acidity and sweet juicy flavours. Tertiary notes of leather and tobacco show great balance, and well integrated tannins and a delicious ripe finish, with lots of earthy undertones. A fabulous example of a prestigious pomerol red.

Lafleur-Gazin 2014

I ordered 2014 having had this at our favourite restaurant, Forest Side in Grasmere. What was delivered was 2017. We’ve opened our first bottle which was acceptable but we would have liked some transparency that our order would not be honoured. Thank you.
