Marchese di Borgosole, Salice Salentino Riserva, Puglia, Italy - Deep ruby‑garnet colour with intense aromas of dark plum and black cherry along with hints of dried fig, leather and subtle tobacco. Rich berry fruit layered with oak‑derived vanilla and chocolate notes on the palate and a lingering finish of spice and savoury complexity.
Villa Wolf Pinot Noir, Pfalz, Germany - Soft and fruity to begin but with complex spiciness and an earthy quality. Really lovely minerality on the finish.
Gouguenheim 'Reserve' Malbec, Mendoza, Argentina - Deep purple colour with aromas of red fruits, chocolate and coffee beans. Red and black cherry flavours with scents of red flowers. Lovely oaky notes on the finish, very complex yet balanced.
