Summer is the perfect season for crisp, refreshing white wines, and a few standouts truly capture the spirit of the sun-soaked months. An Australian Chardonnay with grapes sourced from premium Adelaide Hills vineyards, a French blend, perfect for summer sipping on sunny terraces (or your back garden will do!), and a Verdejo from the heart of Spain’s Castilla region.
This case contains 2 bottles of each of the following:
2 x Corryton Burge Chardonnay, Adelaide, Australia
Striking aromas of lemon and peach open up to a palate of tropical stone fruit and lemon. A wine with a wonderful richness and mouthfeel that comes together with fine acid balancing the fruit and oak.
2 x Flora & Fauna Blanc, Cepages du Sud, France
An elegant and fresh white Grenache with stone fruit aromas, pear skin and a touch of peach. Bone dry, the vineyard's altitude gives the wine a natural freshness despite the pear and apricot notes coming through. Sauvignon adds a grassy twang and a mineral complexity.
2 x Organic El Convertido Verdejo, IGP Castilla, Spain
Delicate yet expressive notes of gooseberry, green apple and white fruits with impressive richness and acidity.
